Incoming Ned rant But yeah, it's amazing how many commercials have had a zombie influence the last few years.

Amazing or predictable? If you haven't noticed, zombies have steadily increased in popularity over the past decade or so, with no indications of slowing. I believe this is in part due to the efforts of the band Gorillaz. There's a chart around here somewhere... maybe it's behind the pumpkin patch calendar?
