the 2009 Bridge International Screenplay Competition results are in, and the newest Deadlands script, a partial remake of Deadlands 1, combined with the elements for a third Deadlands film, set both during and after the outbreak, was recognized as one of the eight finalist in the contest.

Side Note, Writer Lonnie Martin was omitted in the listing but should also be credited as Lonnie also helped in flushing out the story from my original draft/ Between Lonnie and I we completed over 4 drafts before I settled on entering this draft into this competition.
So congrats to Lonnie Martin as well.
