I passed it up due to all the sub-par reviews it was getting from basically everywhere.

Maybe one day I'll come across it?

I liked it quite a bit. Just never finished it.

I briefly played it a few years ago, but I had a hard drive failure at the time and semi-convinced myself it was the *ahem* copy that did it.

Most likely not, it was just the HDD's time ... regardless, never re-installed it ... thought it was "okay-ish", but wasn't fussed to go back to it anyway - so there was certainly no lost sale from me.

Speaking of GTA - I'm looking forward to the DLC-on-DVD that's coming soon - although, how come no Ballad of Gay Tony trailer yet? I mean goddamn...lazy.

The two DLCs are coming to a disc you can physically insert (sexually if you want) into your SexBox369 - on it will be the already released "Lost & Damned", as well as the new DLC that's coming out on XBL at the same time "The Ballad of Gay Tony" - the latter is more about the rich, famous, and colourful side of LC - so no more of the drab, down in the gutter type stuff you apparently get in spades in "L&D".

Like 40 new hours of GTA IV stuff I think, yeah.

L&D was said to provide like 20 hours of new stuff, so I figured it'll be the same for Gay Tony.

I played GTA IV all the way through for a second time earlier this year, and I still love it. It has some minor flaws, but I just love it.

Looks fun, but has some boring spots (I watch missings 2-13 and then 35- 41)

I'm finding myself playing it when I'm in the mood for some good ol' profanity.

I do dig the alternate storyline, but man some of the voice acting is bad... really bad. I was laughing out loud quite a bit over some of the dialogue choices within the game.

You can blame Pacino for that. He handpicked the guy himself.

I have been wanting to rent this from Gamefly, but its very popular. Too bad it wasn't released on the 360, but the Xbox port looks good. I will have to play Borderlands, instead. They shipped it today.
