    -I've seen Pizza Hut/Taco Bell/KFC's but I can't recall if they were around here

    yeah, this is something that's been going on over here for quite a while now. one company (in this case yum!) owns different fast food chains and decides to put them together in the same location.

    I dunno, we only have..4 in Pembroke. Population 15,000. so lets say that for every 3750 people, there is 1 Tim Hortens.

    That could very well be a lot of donut shops.

    We have had those for a long time, but they used to be mostly in smaller towns, it's been at least 10 years since I first saw one when on vacation, but now they have popped up in the more populated areas. We also have a Subway/Little Ceasers near me and a McDonalds/Mobile Gas Station which is referred to as McMobil.
