    Burnt Offerings

    Anyone seen this? you'll probably find it on Youtube.
    It's about a family that move into a haunted house though the nature of this house seems different in that there's no ghosts though it holds a power over the occupants.

    Good Memories..
    saw 'Burnt Offerings' and 'Ruby' back in the double feature days in the movie theater..the ending of 'Burnt' scared the shit out of me..always like Oliver Reed since 'Tommy' in the mid 70s.
    Karen Black was also good in this..right around the time of 'Trilogy of Terror'

    Wow! Did anyone catch the ending when it gave the rating, PG? Looks much more like an R and in no way similar to, say a Poltergeist. From just the trailer I would have given it an R.

    Oliver Reed. He was simply perfect in The Brood. I wonder how many actual lines he had in The Brood. I know they were slim so it comes down to his presence. He has tremendous presence.
