Aside from the piracy, you making a profit on the movie yet?

    Not really.

Nothing from the studio that is... hence why inside the RAr files is a note that people can donate if they want but not required.

I watched it on a stream a few days ago and will still buy a copy next week. It's miles ahead of the original and I plan on reviewing it soon.

While this is awesome for the feebie hunters, I sure hope it isn't the shape of things to come for independent movies. A whole wad of cash and hard work bound for a Rapidshare torrent.

I agree. It is several steps up, and looks like a more expensive flick. Saw someone dog DJ on his editing on Netflix...which is crap cuz DJ is a good editor. There were some cinematography issues, but way fewer than on Deadlands: The Rising. It is a remarkable effort.

Damn straight. DL2 kicks DL1's ass. And I rather liked DL1.

Everything is markedly improved in the sequel, and on a SMALLER budget too - yet the scale is bigger and it's got Jim Krut in it. Crazy awesome stuff.

Krut owns! When I first saw him in the film I was saying to myself "Oh hell, DJ's done put Krut in the feature role... terrible..." After a few scenes I was cheering for the guy

i imagine online viewings from a trustworthy sorce, aka the creator, will probably get more people to buy it, certainly if they like it.

Though i would have put it up on a streaming site not a download, that way people who do like will go "fuck that its easier to buy a copy" its just what happened with wolverine and something, something, something dark side.
