I figured that was the rationality behind that guy dropping the petrol tank, I just sat there thinking "what a plonker - he now deserves to get munched on" . It's kinda nice (in an evil-ish way) to watch plonkers get chewed on.

And in writing characters like this, that's kind of the goal - to get the audience to feel like the guy's a plonker. At least that becomes the reason.

I liked the guy who 'owns' the camper van, he's such a dickhead, a complete prick up his own ass with his 'righteous' class warfare diatribe and his 'I'm harder than Action Man' posturing - he's such a dick, so it's fun to hate him and boo him.

Totally agree but he had that slappable but likeable face. He would have been cool as a good guy methinks.

    I thought Deadscapes was great.

The twist with the woman was unexpected and enjoyable.

    Can't wait for pt 2

Ken (CTD alumni) was a hard guy to make mean. I mean, he's the nicest most likeable dude. To make him hated took a bit of effort.

This is sort of a scary thought, but I see your point. He was the meanest looking guy I had for the part so he lost the good guy angle.

Thanks. I'm hoping Deadscapes II will prove just as enjoyable.

Things are slow-going on the Deadscapes front, as I know they would be. Wintertime for this episode was not planned with any production time in mind. Although before Spring time breaks completely, I'm thinking of re-writing the script a bit for II - expanding a little in certain areas. Things are a bit more busy on the band front at the moment. Spring and Summer will hopefully raise the dead.
