    The autograph is included...

I am not a money whore... infact I hate the idea of charging... but it does help pay the bills, but most of the time I just don't bother charging.

    Deej said:
I caught it last year at Zombie COn X in Milwaukee and it was a blast and now that he has a chance to show to a group from Night of the Living Dead... that should make for a great experience.
Yah, they're putting us on right before the NOTLD screening on Saturday. I'm a little nervous how the show'll go over with the original cast, but we've had a lot of positive feedback so far.

Plus photo ops with the actors and their puppets...

    Then Prof said:
I'm sure you've tweaked the formula a bit and improved what was already a good thing
Since that vid, Prof, - new set, some new props, brand new puppets - TWICE!

And by that, Deej, we've rebuilt the puppets again for this year. And...wow. Take a look at Ben, now:

Oh, Deej, Yes Please on a copy of the Day soundtrack on CD.

It may very well be very important in my next parody...

Why don't you tell him what you thought about his part in Halloween?

And be sure to get it on video.

good meeting you too, dj. had a good time just smoking and joking with ya, will probably run in to you again one of these days at another convention. haven't got around to watching either deadlands film yet, but will post my thoughts in one of the threads for ya once i'm done.

billy ray and his crew put on a great show. it was standing room only in the area the put it on at. they did a great job of making the audience feel like a part of the show. you can tell that their puppet show is a labor of love by people who truly enjoy the hell out of the film. good to meet you too, billy ray.

as far as the rest of the convention goes, i went with 2 friends from work who both have seen day of the dead and loved it. i took my "complete night of the living dead filmbook" and got it signed by john russo, russ streiner, kyra schon, george kosana, and bill hinzman. it was pretty surreal meeting these people in real life as this was my first con i'd ever attended. they all seemed pretty nice.

what really blew me away, however, was the day cast. i don't have a lot of day memorabilia, in fact, i just have the 2-disc anchor bay dvd, so i took that to have it signed. i started off meeting lori cardille (holy shit she is great looking in person, i was shocked, given that day is 25 years old, but wow...). we got to talking for a bit and the fact that i was in the military was brought up by a buddy as we were standing there with her, and as soon as she heard that, she told gary klar and mark tierno, and all three of them ended up signing my dvd for free, and gary also gave me a reprinted "THE DEAD WALK" newspaper that they all signed. all three treated me like i was and old friend, and we had some good conversations, especially with "steele", who is cool as hell in real life, a real geniune dude. these 3 made my visit worth more to me than anything else.

sadly, joe pilato and tom savini weren't there, which was a bummer, but i had a great time anyway. maybe i can catch up with them at famous monsters this year...and say hey to lori cadille again.

Still decompressing, so this'll be brief...

    Two sold-out performances.

    Rave reviews.

    Lots of contacts.

    Lots more drinking.

    Pics forthcoming.

(Our website got trampled by traffic. We're currently offline)

    Great weekend.

Thanks for coming to the show, Prof; and as always Deej, you Rawk.

---------- Post added at 03:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:27 PM ----------

I just heard that you was the dude what kept the big black flat from falling on the first row at Sunday's show.

Things Happen in live Theatre. We had a large panel tip over. It's light, but there's a limit to Audience Participation. I wasn't there, I was behind a different set of flats puppeting up. I heard a round of "Mannah Mannah" (Our code for "Something went very wrong. We're attempting to remedy this. Keep going until we get it sussed.") We haven't had to do it yet. It actually got laughs. The right kind of ones, too.

We've been reviewing the show just now & I heard you had our back. In a very real way. Dude, Thanks. Really.

THAT's what I dig about this page. (other thread, I know) When I get to meet you cats in Real Life, (That means you too, Prof) You are EXACTLY the sort of folks that I do all of this puppet goofiness for. That's why I'm here.

Gotta Roll, talk to you all later...
