Another thing, perhaps if a post is directed toward someone in particular, they'd actually respond, instead of just making a statement, no matter how on topic it may be.

I've been thinking about joining another forum to fill the void this one has caused, however I can't find anything that super interests me. Every other forum I find is filled with jokes I don't get, dorks, elitists, and straight-up assholes. Also, someone clue the rest of us in on the Tom Martin joke.

In reading through older posts, there have been a ton of older members that have just "disappeared" off the face of the earth. Terran and coma are the first two that spring to my mind. Do they still come here? Also, someone clue the rest of us in on the Tom Martin joke. I don't get it either.

I used to post more frequently during downtime at work put about six months ago management clamped down and installed spyware when it became apparent that a few employees were spending more tome surfing the web than doing actual work. Since then I pretty much only post on my off hours and balance that with spending time with my wife, running errands and sleeping. I have been to many boards, but none of them had the level of comradarie, intelligent postings and polite discourse that I get from you freaks. George Romero connection aside, this is the main reason why I keep returning to you all and will continue to do so even if it means giving up previous sleep time. btw: I too don't get that Martin reference. Please enlighten me!
