Any vintage Playboy collectors here?

In the house I'm currently rehabbing I found around 40-50 issues of Playboy, ranging from 1960 through 1983. One issue is even some "special edition" in this white leather-like binding. I'm way too tired right now to go through them and list exactly what issues I have, but I will. Does anyone here collect these? Any interest in purchasing them or any idea of what I could possibly get for them if I decide to part with them?

I'm not a collector, but I inherited a huge stack of them when my grandfather died. Some of them date pretty far back into the 60's/

Can't say I'm a collector, but I did pick up the issue from the month/year when I was born: Kind of like how some folks will collect the newspaper of Life magazine from their birthday. Except with boobs...

Articles in the 80s were quite good, actually. Not a reason to get Playboy, but another thing about them to enjoy. I actually have had occasion to look back at some of my old playboys (go figure! Not a collector, though) and I do say that the articles back in the day (especially the 80s) were great.

Actually, there's a review of an early Stooges/Alice Cooper concert in the issue I mentioned. The author referred to them as "The latest contestants for Rock and Roll's 'Queen of the Hop" award. Yikes.. So yeah, I did read the articles. Got to find out what was really going on while I was done cooking...

Atleast they used to be when i read them. It was more of a joke, really. The articles can be very entertaining, but anyone that says they get the magazine for that alone are obviously lying to themselves. They just wanna see some titties and are too embarassed to admit it. It's like guys that claim they've never had a wank. Bitch, please.
