They could start using stuff like thisfor instructions and warnings on the road. For instance.....one school had this 45 foot decal printed out and attached to the street. This would definitely help convince people to slow down..

Yeah, the top one going down the street would have me scared to even walk on it for fear of falling in! Seriously!

First, we need to release a gaggle of people dosed on acid amongst this artwork.

Secondly, this work is, well, it's incredible!

I would be really interested to see pictures of these taken from the other side. I think my brain just sprung trying to imagine it.

I've also seen this guys work before; he IS incredible. The only thing about this art, though, is that it's really only pleasant on the eyes from the right angle. If you're to walk on it, or look at it from the sides or opposite ends, it won't make too much sense and look odd. Regardless, it's still awesome.

arent those two different artists? I've seen both on i09 before and im pretty sure the top one is image manipulation from a series an artist did about normal streets turning into fantastic locals, wheras the lower is from an artist known for using chalk to make things look amazingly 3d.

The site I got it from says it's the same guy. I dunno. The "this guy" in the original post is actually a link to the site. For some reason it's not underlined like a link, though...

Yeh, and then a month later, when all the drivers get used to it, the 'real' little girl picking up her ball from the road is mowed down...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I was actually thinking the same thing but didn't want to say it due to superstition.
