One year old John Wayne Gacy says...

... err... wait... I think that's actually Winston Churchill.

Ok, the Alien action figure, that is cool (albeit a goofy commerical) - but "The Avenging Narwhal"??? with "four magical tusks and three adorable animals to impale"?! Who comes up with this shit?

I've got a figure that's identical to that, only it's about 7-8 inches. Made by NECA. Comes with some snakes and a Handbook of the Recently Deceased.

There's a different one at the toy store that's around the corner from me.

Speaking of... I'd like to brag that I live about 250 feet away from a store called The House Of Fun which solely contains action figures from the 70's/80's. As well as some t-shirts and magazines. They used to have a sick DOTD shirt in there with the gas mask on it, but I never got to grab if before they sold out.

There's several Beetlejuice figures around these days. I've got the one pictured above, there's one in his wedding outfit, one as the carnival ride, and one as the stairwell snake. Beetlejuice must have quite the cult following these days. So where the fuck is a special edition blu ray and Beetlejuice 2?!?

Keaton needs the comeback, man. He's never too old to play the B-man. And although he helped make the first film what it is....keep Burton away from the sequel. Maybe have him produce, but bring in some fresh non-cgi blood that can make a film without Depp...

Bassman - speaking of toys and cool stuff, you might wanna check this out:

Back to the Future Lights and Sound Mark I Delorean

Just saw this today and thought I'd pass it along.

    Here's a tiny sample pic:

    delorean.jpg

    Info:

Now, you can own an exact scale model replica of Doc's DeLorean, including fully-detailed moving
parts, working lights, and a full array of sound effects. Just make sure you don't get it up to 88 MPH!

At 14 inches long, our DeLorean DMC-12 is a 1/12 exact duplicate of the genuine article. But at only
$39.99, it costs considerably less than the 1:1 scale version, even when you allow for depreciation.
    Product Specifications

•1/12th scale replica of the iconic DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future
•Lights, sound effects, and fully-detailed moving parts
    •Sound effects include:
    ◦First time travel
    ◦Car trouble
    ◦Revving up and winding down
    ◦Opening door
    ◦Rev up and peel out
    ◦Engine start-up
    ◦Return from time travel
    ◦Screeching halt
    ◦Time circuit engaged
    ◦No power

    •Size: 14" long

Oh, I can see it now -- Burton re-making his own film because he's run out of material for making re-makes of other peoples films.

The difference with this re-make is that the parents would now be played by Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp. Oh yeah, he'd probably cast Johnny Depp in a duel role and have him play Beetlejuice too...

I had seen that before, but didn't realize it was 14 inches! That seems really big for that awesome price.

The only thing I really have from the BTTF movies is the "OUTATIME" license plate. Been considering getting a smaller Delorean, but can't decide which one. They've got one for each film. The BTTF2/Mr. Fusion version is looking like the winner.

Well, if you decide to pull the trigger on the one above, do so today - that's a "deal of the day" site, and it'll only be up there for today.
