    From the Scream 2010 awards which filmed a couple nights ago. Hopefully it turns out better than 3.

    In before someone makes a Scream ruined horror/slasher films comment.

    And who knows if this movie will be worth the time spent watching it. I agree with you Coin, 3 was...well, I don't even know if I finished watching it.

    After seeing the reviews for Craven's latest flick.....my hopes aren't very high. Wasn't a huge fan of the series, anyway. The first one was pretty good and said pretty much all there was to say. The rest felt forced.

    I liked the series. First is probably still the best, but I liked how it was conceived in 3 acts, there was an overarching story, etc. Thought it was pretty well thought out & written. Plus I roll old school...I'm a sucker for slasher series.

    That having been said, I don't know how I feel about a new series. I thought they did well w/ beginning, middle, & end. It felt very "complete". Still, I'm not violently opposed, so eh, we'll see.

    I don't know what folks problems are with the "Scream" series.

    I think they are a fantastic comedy trilogy for a good laugh making fun of the repetitiveness of slasher flicks from the 70's/80's.

    Well, the first one is really good at least. The second and third are decent too though. I think they all work best when watched together.

    i'll pass on this one like i passed on scream 2 and 3. that trailer does not inspire me to use any of my time to watch this movie. in fact, i think that the scream movies suck ass. the first one had some ok moments but after that, it was all shit.

    The Scream series is a guilty pleasure of mine. Being a fan of good horror films, I know I shouldn't like them, but I just can't help myself.

    I don't understand how they could start the series back up, though? I'm 90% sure I'll be passing on this one; seems like a plea for cash.
