    Let's hope it's as good as the 1981 BBC TV series, and not as bad as the 2009 BBC TV series!

    IMO, Raimi's ONLY good film was "The Evil Dead II" and I can't even watch that anymore.

    There's no way I'd give such a great story to him. No way at all.

    Agree with Andy, the 1981 'Day of the Triffids' was easily the best version. Scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Bought the series on DVD a couple of years ago. It's still excellent.
