MZ - the previous high was 10.9m for the Season Three premiere, if i'm not mistaken.

The 16.6m includes the rerun. The 12.3m is the first airing.

    3x10 - 11.05m
    3x11 - 11.01m

Still absolutely fantastic numbers. 11m core audience.

    Sweet numbers.

Where do you get these from, by the way?

"Walking Dead wins night" seems to be quite a popular headline on that site.

I wonder what the total for the night for the last few episodes has been just out of interest ... couldn't seem to find the info on the site there.

You need to add the 3 showings figures to get the overall.

    3x10 16.36m
    3x11 15.43m
    3x12 16.03m

I remember reading articles before the show was released, about every casting decision, leaked pictures, etc. It's insane how popular the show became though - it is simply a behemoth franchise at this point. Even the game (which I wasn't even fond of as you all know :b) won Game of the Year, and the comic is probably getting huge boosts in sales from the show.

Its pretty crazy that on this list:

TALKING DEAD is in 3rd place. I don't watch it much, but it's pretty damn impressive IMO that the talk show following Walking Dead is the third highest rated show of the night. Simply crazy how successful TWD has become.

A little step up from last week, nice. I still don't understand people who only watch some episodes of a show though ... such people should be banned from watching television.

    ...

So with the mid-season premiere getting 12.3 million on a single viewing, what are people's predictions for the finale?

    I'm thinking 12 - 12.5 million.

Yep. I'd agree with that. The gains seem to be in the off season with word of mouth, dvd sales etc so i dont expect big fluctuations episode to episode. Maybe closer to 13m at a push.

Wonder if this show will ever top the ratings of LOST?
