You're right, the facial animation looks really good - more realistic, as-if recorded straight from someone's face, rather than manipulated by a technician ... kind of like how Call of Duty used to just use animations that were created, but for the fourth game they moved to recorded animations from real people, and it looks so much more realistic as a result.

Still don't know an awful lot about the game, but I'm down with the whole noir thing in L.A. ... kind of L.A. Confidential/Black Dahlia type vibe going on there. Noiiice.

haven't heard much about this game so far. that trailer does look very good though. seems to be one of those games that does a great job of bringing the world around your character to life.

and damn, i watched that trailer and my first thought was "it's ken! cosgrove! accounts!" from mad men....dude sounds and looks just like that guy. then i did a search, and tada! it really is him. very realistic looking, and the emotive facial animations are amazing.

this game is now on my radar...

I'm interested. Not as much as I was for GTAIV or RDR, but i'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one. Rockstar has really done no wrong in my book.

Hm... that new trailer didn't impress me nearly as much as the earlier ones. I dunno if it's because they made a crummy new trailer or because I'm just used to whats to come. Either way, I'm still looking forward to this.
