Tom Towles, Harry Cooper in Night '90, dead at age 65

I met him at a convention once, he was very nice to me.

    That's too young
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Tom was one of my favorites. Harry Cooper was amazing and his Sherrif Wydel character was badass. Otis from Henry was creepy and memorable.

Yep, that was a really crummy way to start the week yesterday when I read about that online.

    RIP Mr Towles.

yes, 65 is far too young. Sad news, as he was one of the people who would have been a pleasure to meet at a convention. Would have loved to have the chance to talk to him for a few minutes.
