Galaxy of Terror (B.D. Clark, 1981):
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...81-review.html

A Roger Corman "Alien" knock-off with production design by none other than James Cameron, in which a giant worm pesters a buxom blonde and someone gets killed by their own severed arm!

MZ, you're being prude. It doesn't pester her.

You know exactly what it does.

Underplayed for vaguely witty tongue-in-cheek effect, dear Sir, just like how the Remus is trashed rather than in need of a "tidy up".

    Manborg (Steven Kostanski, 2011):
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...vd-review.html

Astron-6 go full-on for this low budget sci-fi action comedy extravaganza packed to the rafters with Nazi Demons, killborgs, laser battles, and plenty of intentional cheese.

    Cold In July:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...ni-review.html

From the director of Stakeland - a John Carpenter-referencing 80s style crime thriller with a pulpy grit.

The Washing Machine (Ruggero Deodato, 1993) DVD Review:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...o-deodato.html

From the director of "Cannibal Holocaust", comes a saucy tale of Cold War hangovers and murder by household appliances!

    Sabotage:

Stuffed with more adrenaline-fuelled machismo than you can shake a fistful of dynamite at.

    Inherent Vice, and Grand Piano:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...-troubled.html

    1) Unsettled vibes result from a complex string of criminal activity amidst a fog of pot smoke.
    2) Phone Booth meets Terror At The Opera, with Elijah Wood.

    Tusk, and The Purge: Anarchy:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...ths-weird.html

    1) Michael Parks, Justin Long, and Johnny Depp - in a movie about a guy who gets turned into a walrus!
    2) The premise is still full of holes, but franchise improvement is afoot.

    Bad Milo, and WolfCop:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/...-monsters.html

    1) It's about a butt monster! That is, a monster from someone's butt!
    2) The Ronseal of movie titles - does what it says on the tin!

Blood and Black Lace (Mario Bava, 1964) Blu-Ray/DVD Review:
    http://deadshed.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/blood-and-black-lace-mario-bava-1964.html

The best part of twenty years before the bodycount-based slasher that was "Friday the 13th", came Mario Bava's "Blood and Black Lace", the second ever - but this time full-bodied - giallo film.

Wasn't sure if I should watch it or not... I'll give it a go now though...
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Aye, you should. I think if you go in with modest reservations in mind to temper expectations, then you'll end up thoroughly enjoying it. As I said, Copley steals the whole movie with his performance as Chappie.
