Entire X-Men: First Class team back for sequel

Matthew Vaughn did what most of us thought was impossible under the current Fox administration: He made a great X-Men movie! And a prequel no less. Even with the deck stacked against him he cast the movie about as well as you could cast it (McAvoy and Fassbender alone would qualify as being labeled inspired) and directed the hell out of the movie.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. For such a bog X-men fan growing up you'd think I'd have seen the first one, especially given that it got some decent reviews. Oh, well, it's on my list and if it was good, I guess this would be good news then.

Since linking to that AICN article, both its title and content have changed!
