Romero appearance at the BFI (UK)

Just a heads up to anyone in the UK, George will be appearing at the BFI in London's Southbank on November 8th, for the first of two screenings of Night of the Living Dead. Tickets are available on the 8th October and are £22.50 each. There will be a Q & A after the show, where he'll discuss Night, Dawn and Martin. I'll popping up there with a few of the boys from the Romero Facebook communities for beers and photos, if anyone's down...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. No chance. The thought of trying to get into South London on a Friday at that time was enough to put me off
