    Rise Of The Zombies (film)

With The Asylum involved you'd think "oh dear," but that said, it's actually not a copy of something else, so you never know it might be OK!?

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Thumbs up

May just be better than World War Z.

Hurm. Doesn't look too bad. I have seen a couple non-derived from another movie Asylum films, & they were ok for low budget B movies, so I'll give this one a chance.

I've actually seen this. The trailer makes it look much better than it really is. The Alcatraz setting is a great idea though and some of the makeup is top notch. But it all falls a little flat.

Full of jobbing actors. Jordy Le Forge from Star Trek is in it.
I'm runnin' this monkey farm now Frankenstein.....

Saw it at Wally's for $5 last night, so I said "WTF" & picked it up (& paid full price for that "Zombie Killer" flick, damn you Neil!"), so I'll post my thoughts when I watch it.

And Danny Trejo, Mariel Hemingway, and French Stewart. It looks like a fun little flick.

As far as zombie movies go it was alright. That is high praise actually. The movie looses a bit of steam in the last act and the pacing and characterization is a bit off here and there. But all in all a must see for all zombie fans.
