Interesting! I'd heard some positive buzz on this one, but was unsure. I'll have to check it out.

Its definitely worth a go, better than a lot of the 'hollywood' sci fi movies thats been out lately.

Watched "The Rover" with Guy Pearce last week, pretty good...I only know him as "that kid from Neighbours" back in the Kylie and Jason years...couldn't believe how intense he was, very impressed with his acting chops!

Oblivion gallops closer, favoring the spur, sparing the rein - I think we will be gone soon

Legion - so you've not seen Guy Pearce in the likes of L.A. Confidential and Memento? He is a crackin' actor, it has to be said. The boy done good with his post-Neighbours career!

You beat me to it. Great actor. Memento rocks. (LA is good too...) Saw him in a great flick, "First Snow" with JK Simmons (another great actor) a few months ago. Fantastic.

I'm not a huge film watcher to be honest mate (which means I haven't seen those flicks)...but yeah, he hit it out the park in this film, I enjoyed it a lot...so much so that if I come across any of his other work, I will be well happy to give it a go.

In which case I strongly recommend those two flicks I mentioned for superb Guy Pearce performances (they're great films generally, too).

"All About Evil" 8/10 - Surprisingly fun & campy dark comedy/slasher. As another reviewer noted, imagine if John Waters made a slasher movie. Natasha Lyonne is great in the lead, & the rest of the cast is good too. Elvira, Drag Queens, Tommy Dekker of "Chromeskull" fame, good times!

"Antisocial" 6/10 - Fairly average zombie apocalypse flick. NOTLD+ 28 days Later+ Facebook = this movie.

"Mischief Night" (2014) 8/10 - Highly surprising slasher meets rom-com meets drama meets slasher. Imagine if Ghostface came to kill Drew Barrymore, & instead the two of them "sparked". Not-your-typical Slasher meets Not-your-typical Final Girl, sparks fly, hijinks & bloodshed ensue! I haven't seen a small quirky film like this in a while. Highly dug it.

"Jack O'Slasher" 5/10 - Mildly amusing "so bad it's good" SOV Slasher. Recommended for hardcore Slasher aficionados looking for a fix only.
