    Deliver Us From Evil (film)

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Saw it tonight. I was very saddened by the use/tie in with the Door's music. It really ruined what might have been a really good movie. It was pretty bloody, and gore abounded. But every once in awhile they'd try to jam that crap in there, with no success. I love the Doors, but why?!?
The ending also fell kind of flat for me.
Bummer, and I also normally love Eric Bana. Whatever they were trying to pull off with Mr. Mojo Risin' did not work at all. I can't believe this was greenlit without slapping the bejesus out of the writer and making him edit that poo out.
