    Bombshell (video game) - 3D Realms

    After the Duke Nukem Forever mess, 3D Realms need to prove they can still produce a decent game! Rumour is this was going to be a Duke Nukem game, but after a legal wrangle, it turns out they didn't have the rights to use the character so in comes a new one...

    Good lord that was boring!

    Duke Nukem Forever had a few things going for it, but ultimately it was a turd fest. I'm still waiting for a DN game that matches DN3D, but one that also updates itself to fit into the world of the 2010s rather than the 1990s. A female spoil as strong-willed and opinionated as Duke Nukem himself would have made a good dynamic, someone to unsettle him and confuse him and level the sexual playing field in that world a bit ... instead it was just a mess, a mess with some good elements, but a mess nonetheless.
