Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (film)

    Saw this last night.

It's what I'd describe as a "proper film". ie: Not what you'd expect from holiday. Not a nice wrapped up story with a clear start, middle and finish. No clear heroes and villains...

The main story is a little clunky, and the ending loses its way a little IMHO, but there's so much to love in this film Lots of lovely little story threads/moments!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Well, my other half was frustrated by it, especially certain story threads and stuff towards the end. So it's definately not a film for all

Was a big fan of In Bruges, and quite enjoyed Seven Psychopaths, so I'm rather interested in seeing this as well.

Naturally, hearing a lot of good things about it.
