    Ha. I remember Kim Newman (I think it was Kim Newman) talking about this years ago.

    I don't think this is a set mistake though. I think it really was meant to be an improvised shade deliberately put there by a character. But the scene of it being placed has been cut.
    I'm runnin' this monkey farm now Frankenstein.....
