    I was curious when this was first announced. Then they announced that John Lithgow would be returning, and they really had my attention. His season arc(season three or four, iirc?) was amazing! Can’t wait to see those two at it again.

    Just watched the first episode earlier - and it was good - phew!

    I mean, yeah, the bad guys of the episode are kinda cookie cutter 'spoiler rich son asshole' and 'evil corporate environment fucker-overer', and the inclusivity of this remote little town sometimes feels kinda pointed and deliberate and possibly a bit Hollywoodised, but it wasn't like 'wave a finger in your face' about it either. I guess they always end up making it feel more 'featured' than reality.

    I'm interested to see where it goes and it certainly beat the shit out of the average quality found in seasons 6 through 8, no doubt.
