    Texas Chainsaw Massacre (videogame)...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1xsUoo-L5E

From the makers of the Friday the 13th videogame from a few years back (hopefully this time it won't get scuppered by a long-winded tangential lawsuit).

Looks good - although yet again it's multi-player only, so us folks who only enjoy single player games are screwed over (also see the recent Evil Dead game - looked great, but it was once again a multi-player setup). The F13th game had a bots mode and a rushed single player mode (of sorts), so we can but hope there'll be a proper single player addition to this game at some point because not every gamer is interested in multi-player games (and this particular format, heavily informed by that Dead by Daylight game - if I recall the name correctly - is getting a bit cliched and standard now).

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Indeed, looks good, and mostly because of the design and attention to detail - it's clear that Gun have a lot of affection and respect for the material (interesting that the female character they've put in there was apparently a dropped idea when coming up with the original script in the 1970s - notice she sings the Manson family song that was also heard in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood).

There's some interesting character work going on there - which makes it more annoying that this isn't a single player game, or has a proper SP mode. You've got all the assets and locations, now you just need to put it together (the SP content for the Friday the 13th game was welcome, but it was rather rushed in many ways and didn't make an awful lot of sense and needed the player to be omnipotent ... or look up a video guide online to copy!)

Love the attention they paid to the little things, and even the chainsaw itself - proper audio recordings and modelling and I like that they thought about how to properly implement the sound of it, so the player feels more 'in control' of it revving up and down and it's not just an audio clip cycling etc.
