Me either. I think all of us would agree with that.

I've certainly seen acting a damn sight worse from other indie productions. I much prefer the matey-matey realism of you and Dj over the amateur dramatics and "I've been reading this off a page all afternoon" wooden-like goings on in a film such as Meat Market (although I own it and its sequel on DVD and quite like both of them too).

For an indie film, especially one on the budget you guys had, the acting was definately suited and in several cases beyond the call of duty, in my eyes.

And Lou, you weren't as bad as you think you were, I think you did a really good job ... now, my acting ... that is crap!

I was just messin' around when I said that, MZ - I mean, some of my lines I kinda think 'eeehhhh, I could've done better' but there are some parts where I look at what I did and say "whoa, that came out of me?! (in my best keanu reeves) NO WAY!" and I only say that 'cause I think sometimes I hit a line fairly decently, and that was not even close to expected by myself.

I'm an extremely harsh critic of my own work, be it acting (in this case, for the first time) or music.

Axlish - my apologies if I rubbed you the wrong way, it was not intentional. Someone pissed in my cornflakes this morning at work (not literally! figure of speech!!) so I've been kinda grumpy all day. Next time I'll try and bite my tongue before I go off.

...we now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

Well mystery solved. Lets break out the bullwhips hookers and Cristal. Wall to wall freaky sex with good looking girls wearing strap ons willing to plummel themselves with said strap on.

    Talking

I got the movie today and thank you soo much for being soo prompt in sending it out Dj!
I enjoyed the movie immensely you guys were being too modest when you said your acting was horrible..you did a very good job!
I have to tell you guys your music was phenomenal I loved it!!
Yes I loved the guy in the bathroom it was sooo cool he was safe with the hook and eye lock lol!
The things I saw that I saw lacking which isnt hardly anything (it was GREAT a movie) Iknow with budget you can only do so much...well, here goes...in DL2 more dialogue with actors and more zombie action. Thats it!
    I think your movie rocks!
I know you will probably tweek alot of what you did on Deadlands and you already see what you want to do different on DL2
I really like the "feel" of the movie it was aah surreal you know like real with real people like if a zombie outbreak really was happening.I like it that you used unknown actors. I liked the woman and the little boy, you dont see that in zombie movies, the only times I can think of off hand is NOTLD and Zombie Night and those had little girls in them, I just think the woman and little boy play in good with the plot!
One more thing ...can you go into more detail on their surviving the first months of the outbreaks leading up to the DL2?
THATS IT>>THATS WHAT I THINK OF YOUR WORK>>>KUDOS>>>DJ and LOU!!!!

Everyone get your butts over to Dj's site and buy your dvd NOW you wont be sorry its GREAT!!!!

Thank you, DA - your comments are greatly appreciated, and I'm glad you enjoyed the movie.

Dj - sounds like everyone really digs the soundtrack. I did too after hearing it for the first time, but I wasn't sure how many people would really 'notice' it, know what I mean?

I cannot WAIT to unleash what we've been working on for part 2's soundtrack (yes, we're already working on ideas - and one last night I whipped out of my magic hat has got both Dj and I extremely stoked.. ) Soon, Daniel-san, soon....

You're gonna have to be patient, it's gonna be over a year before we start principal photography for DL2 'cause many of the crew needed are on another project in mid-to-late 2007 - and since everyone loves the look and cinematography of the first movie, we want as much of the original crew that we can get.

    We can wait.

    I think...
