A similar poll to last time but...

Remember when Scotty Boy did a poll on the best retro console? Well I'm gonna step it up and make this one the best 'last gen' console. Gaming has become a war zone as of late and so many people are divided as to what console is the best so I think this will be interesting.

I'll start things off with a bang by putting in a lovely little vote for the lovely little Dreamcast. Now it's your turn.

I voted Xbox, we had one at uni and it was a friggin' blast playing multiplayer "buggernaut" on Halo 2 or PGR2, so much fun and I found it to be a stable and well built console with a good selection of games.

I've never been into the Playstation, I guess I always resented it for killing off Sega, but then again the controller always made my thumbs hurt because of the buttons and everybody kept raving on and banging on about how great it was (I didn't think it was that great). There were times on a Playstation when I've had fun - e.g. playing Twisted Metal 2 at my mate's house on multiplayer, or completing the Resident Evil 2 demo first time through while he struggled to survive it, teehee. And then Tony Hawk 2 was a great game to play on the PS...never owned one though.

We also had a Dreamcast at uni, played it a bit, didn't like the controller and didn't play much of it, but my mate had a bundle of ripped off games for it. I remember playing it in the kitchen in first year res, winter of first year with all the Xmas lights around me, that's a fond memory.

I've never played a Gamecube.

If I won a decent amount of cash I'd totally buy a 360.

PS2 with Dreamcast coming in 2nd. Dreamcast had potential, but not enough games. But on the looks category Dreamcast tops the list. It was a nicer looking console.

dreamcast wasn't really last gen, it was discontinued just after the launch of the PS2 but wayyyy before the cube or xbox... so most people class it as the same generation as the PS1 and N64.

i dont care my votes going for the dreamcast, i still sign every online petition for a dreamcast 2 ,even though i know its a load of wank.

Okay, only early stages of the vote but I'm amazed at the love being shown for the Dreamcast. Nowdays I gobble Bill Gates cock with gusto but even the 360 is nothing compared to the Dreamcast. The joy I've had playing that console, man.
