Some help please

I would appreciate any help you guys could give me..... I need some information on demons/monsters. Ive searched the net but I cant really find any decent sites to gather ideas from. Got a story in mind but I need some research first! Scarier the better! Maybe I should make up my own.....hmmmmmmm Suppose I should tell you the outline of my story.... A young important girl gets kidnapped and taken to the bowels of Hell, so a team is sent in to get her back. They have to battle their way through 12 levels of demons/monsters before getting to Level 13 (name of my story) where the girls is being kept.....big battle comence.... It was a dream I had ages ago! Thanks guys

Pick up an old copy of the AD&D Monster Manual or Fiend Folio. Should have plenty of critters to populate your story. Just change the names to protect the innocent.

They've been upgraded and expanded in more recent editions... There are a number of nice devils, daemons, and demons described in the Green Ronin release The Book of Fiends.
