Got a shock just now when I read that one of my favourite authors, Robert Anton Wilson, died on thursday.

He's most well known for the "Illuminatus" trilogy written with Robert Shea, but it was his non fiction work that I particularly enjoyed, I especially liked the autobiographical "Cosmic Trigger" books, he didn't call this stuff ontological guerilla warfare/operation mindf**k for nothing.

He was one of those writers that you might not always agree with but who was guaranteed to force you to question your world view and provide some mind-bending laughs along the way. Much missed.
Hail Eris!
