Multiplayer was announced today. All could change before the release of course, but this is most likely what we'll be getting. Quite awesome, if you ask me. Unique Multiplayer Features: Play as one of the Ghostbusters: Choose to play as any one of the four original Ghostbusters or the rookie; Unique Achievements: Players are given scores and ranks for each match that are also applied to their online profile. New footage/info of Multiplayer, some set up screens, etc. I absolutely LOVE the set up screen with the aerial shot of the firehouse/GBHQ. Awesome. Voice recognition? That would have been cool, weird, and horrible all at the same time. Glad they dropped it.

I've never been into Ghostbusters much at all, but the memories of the films are there and this looks like an absolutely quality game, possibly the best movie tie-in game ever. Still, it will only be the second best game to feature Bill Murray: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/473605

One thing(and probably the only so far) that I'm not liking about this game is one of the level bosses that was recently revealed on Game Trailers.... She just doesn't seem to fit into the GB universe, imo. But I don't know the story behind her character, so it might all work out. I guess I can't complain that it's not "canon" if she was created by Aykroyd and Ramis. The large, evil spider in video games just seems a bit cliched....

Loads of new footage today. First up is a new "trailer" with cut scenes and gameplay footage. Those cut scenes look FANTASTIC! Second we have a complete demo with the Sedgewick Hotel, Slimer, and good ol' Dr. Venkman tagging along for some one-liners. You'll notice that the cut scenes don't look as polished as the video above. I believe this is an older demo that's just now making it's way online. This. is. great.
