That one was DECENT. But it still wasn't very good. The rest of them REALLY sucked.

That is of course IF they're following that original GBIII script.

I had seen this once before but never could find it again. I finally came across it today and I thought I should share. Probably my favorite picture so far. It's a recreation of the first film's poster. Unfortunately this fella is standing in front of it, but you get a good look at two of the characters.

    For comparison:

I guess it's at the game's production company offices or something...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Almost an entire level of gameplay footage featuring shots of Venkman(Murray) and Stantz(Aykroyd) in game and Elmer Bernstein's score from the first film.

The interviews and footage from spike tv's game trailers....

Ah yes, I saw that bit on Playr, it's the replacement for "GamerTV" on Bravo. Essentially exactly the same thing, but with different name/graphics/voice over.

Cool indeed, obviously it's still in the construction stages and requires polishing, but so far so good.

    Tech Demos:

That new physics engine is pretty damn impressive. If you listen carefully behind the guy's voice, you can hear the score from the film. Awesome...

The crowded street one is quite impressive but it still needs alot of work, it reminds me of Hitman Blood Money level New Orleans set during Mardi Gras though I doubt this 'Infernal engine' could be used in the PS2/Wii version unless they scaled it back a bit.
My bet is those versions are being handled with minimal effort by a D list developer and will end up a PS1.5 standard crap fest.

Looks like I was wrong, the Wii/PS2 developers are using the same build but visually it's like a CGI Pixar movie. Thinking back, Luigis Mansion is the closest game thus far to a 3D Ghostbusters game.

    Official Trailer

I like how they made it almost as a movie trailer, but couldn't they have shown the game version of the characters when it says the actors' names?

Here's a good screenshot of one of the actors. Can you tell who it is?

And for reference, this is what the Wii, PS2, & DS version of the game will look like.

Been waiting days to see these videos (long story).

    Anyway, they look spiffing.

Indeed, some details like NPCs and the vehicles (not Ecto 1 though), need work to spiff them up a bit, you know, but otherwise the game looks boss - all the "hero" elements, if you will, look great.

Also, the physics engine is rather impressive, just from the stand point of having thousands of objects farting around on screen at once with no lag - noiiice!
