Thumbs up FINAL DEADLANDS TEASER TRAILER - Now Available

I slightly enhanced my teaser a bit, contains more violence and a longer running time.

    I have both...

For 12 hours after revival you can run. I am using Rigor Mortis rules just modified slightly. After 12 hours they start to slow down drastically.

You'll just have to wait for the DVD to come out...

    and yes, I explain it.

I didn't want to tread on Romero's theories, or zombie characteristics, except for flesh eating and shooting them in the head, my corpses are much different. I am also going in a more violent direction and will be pushing a few boundries that no horror director I know of ever pushed before.

Well, we discussed the runners a LOT before we even started production. Both Dj and I thought there is no reason why if you're freshly bitten (and not totally devoured - which means you got lucky in this film! ) that you wouldn't be more limber than a 3 day old corpse and there's no reason why you couldn't move quicker until rigor mortis sets in.

We knew this would upset some purists, but it's logical and would make more sense in a real life situation if this happened.

Believe me, if I were bit and turned a short while later, i'd be RUNNING for my food if I could - at least until I got a bit stiff!

There is a mixture of both though, and as Dj said, after a while they all slow down - but when you're 'fresh meat' - you're a lot more limber.

I don't see a problem including runners and stumblers. The runners make things a little more terrifying in my opinion. The more stiff they get the more I see the survivalist type flick. When you mix the two together it makes it that much more interesting!

Nice work on the trailer. Can't wait to see the finished product!

About 6 more months. We finish principal photography in June, but I am doing Post production as we go.

I will make an announcement when the DVD's will be ready for purchase.
