    Randy ...

Had the spontiniety very few musicians posses ... Gifted and left a big hole when he died . His structure had a feel of inspiration , that when I heard 'Mr Crowley ' (solo) I had the same feeling I had when the lights were turned on when I was first born . He made a mark on me .

Same here. Randy is the reason I started taking guitar lessons as seriously as I did. I was taking lessons at the time, but once I heard "Blizzard of Ozz" for the first time, I realized "THAT is what I want to do, right there! but holy sh*t, i've got a lot of work to do!" so I buckled down and really studied and practiced hard from that point on. Randy is the reason for that, and continues to be an inspiration to me to this day.

I can only imagine what he would be doing now if he were still alive. I have a feeling I'd be buying classical guitar cd's with him on it if that was the case.

I have heard that but considering leaving and doing so are 2 different things. We will never know

He was already teaching. Thre is a boot floating around of Randy giving a lesson.

I think we can pretty much say any solo Randy did with Ozz was awesome. Hell, I even like the slide solo in No Bone Movies (even though that's one of my least-liked Randy era song).

the song " you said it all"
that was left off the blizzard album
and for some reason not put on diary
is an awesome song that shows
even the throwaway stuff by randi
is way better than the stuff other bands
    put out as singles

    i remember when he died
it was just a bad thing all around
