I have been wondering what those squares mean under one's name. Right now I think I have gold, and others have silver. Then Andy and Neil are like 6 star generals. Plus when I am checking out my stats, I have a star over my square. What does all this mean?

- Members Rank - Staff Rank - Reputation Point A Members rank increases as your postcount and title increases, the maximun members get is 6 silver stars. Staff ranks are gold stars, they are permantly set at six and dont increase with post. A Reputation point increases (or decreases) to reflect your reputation.

And what's the exclamation point box next to the tick/cross box all about? I didn't wanna push it till I knew what it was about, I've seen enough episodes of The Simpson's to know pushing buttons willy nilly causes nuclear meltdowns!

- Report bad post button. if you see a particullar post that's breaking the rules, is offensive or you think needs attention, you can press this button next to the appropriate post and it alerts the staff to it. - Reputation button, you can press this to give reputation points for the particullar post. / - Offline/Online indicators, these tell you whether that author of the post is online or offline at the moment. anything else?

Nope, that explains it pretty well I'd say. Oh yeh, swearing - just to clairfy, is that flat out "not cool" or is a bit of swearing okay? Not aimed at people, just general. As anyone from GD who knows me...knows...I can be quite a swearer, but I try to keep myself clean and not go overboard.
