Indeed, a great episode. I haven't read any spoilers or whatever pertaining to the series finale, but I look forward to seeing it next week. It was good stuff indeed, Simm is unhinged as The Master, he's blatantly relishing every minute of it, tapping his fingers on tables and such.

If the Toclafane are just a fairy tale then these so called Toclafane could be memorial urns...
Any bets Captain Jacks immortality will cure the Doctor?
What are the odds all this will be reversed, The Master just ordered them to kill one tenth of the Earths population, unless he stops them and in the tracks this reprecussion will carry over to the next series and Torchwood.

Last night's episode of Doctor Who was the best of the series and probably the best since The Impossible Planet.

im holding my breath till the season finale' next saturday to post my judgement on this one, though the master blatantly rocks
wouldnt be surprised if the toclaphane turne dout to be cloned darleks or something, they seem to be davis' get out of writing a season finalefree card.

Apparently the master says you something about their identity he tells the doctor if he knew what they were it would break his hearts.

    it couldn't be... could it?

The Toclafane are the Time Lords?

I thought maybe they were the Paradox Faction

"were afraid of the darkness." thats what they said, this is a theme that ran through Torchwood that after death theres no afterlife only darkness.

I liked the last two Doctor Who episodes a lot - John Simm is great.
But like others i will reserve judgement until I see the last episode.

i though the same thing, they might be burial urns or something like that, itll probably end with the heart of the tardis using the time vortex to "regeneate" the time lords, so the shot of gallifrey was just a peek.

itd make season 4 more interesting, since didnt the rest of the time lords sorta look down on the doctor travelling about doing what he does?

The master was a little too camp for me in parts, but over all I enjoyed the episode. I still don't like Davies writing the episodes...

I thought the same thing and RTD writing the episodes, but with these last two stories, he has shown that he can write some amazing material
