We met with about 20 potential actors and actresses, and I found a really great leading lady today to fill one of the 2 major female roles, and offered her the part on the spot. We also cast the role of the little girl who is found hiding in the theater when the sheeeit hits the fan. The auditions were held Sat 08/11/07
I am now going through the rest of the audition tapes to cast the rest of the film and then we are going to move onto the first round of rehearsals in about one month.
So far the cast consists of:
Lee Tanner - State Trooper
Corrine Brush - Shelly
Alexa Davidson - Little Girl
Ashley Young - Casey (added 08/12/07)
Josh Davidson - Jack (added 08/12/07)
Alexa's father played the man in Deadlands whom had his spine ripped out by the zombies, and daddy worked very closely with her because she did the part exactly how I envisioned it. Her father will also be joining the cast as Jack.
I will announce the remaining cast by Thursday.
