Unhappy October 2007 Chiller guest-list so far.

Pretty tame. Hope they step it up in the remaining couple of weeks. Thankfully, there are a couple of cyber-pals showing up so we can meet for the first time, so that should make the trip worthwhile even if the roster remains tepid. And I still get to meet Bill Forsythe and Tom Towles at a convention here in my hometown: http://www.rockandshock.com/guests2007.html

Got back from Chiller last night and it was as uneventful as I thought it would be. Definitely one of the weakest guest-lists in recent memory. The only people I bothered to meet were Kenny and Johnny from Type O Negative, who were very cool.

I went to R&S today and it almost made up for how sh*tty Chiller was. Met the Type O guys again, who were part of the show's concert series. Bill Forsythe was a pleasure to meet. Hell, they even had a tattoo giving tattoos right in his booth! Not many conventions can make that claim.

I went to the Rock & Shock in Worcester Saturday with a friend and we crused the dealer tables and the autograph room...

I thought the dealer room was a bit sparse ... but what was there was nice ...

Tonny Todd had the longest line by far

I was shocked that when i went by Mr. Forsyth had no one waiting for him ... since he is by far the more known star outside the horror theme.

Oh well... on to the ICP concert next weekend

Hi there, Ivarr, my fellow Bay-Stater. Sounds like you had a good time. I met up with a filmmaker friend of mine who had his own table. He and his wife drove out to Chiller, but they only stayed for four hours because they were bored to tears too.
