    For you Soul Asylum fans...

I don't know who around here is a Soul Asylum fan, besides myself and tied2thetracks. But I came across something in MySpace Soul Asylum group. The band has an official myspace now, and there's a song up from their new CD, "The Silver Lining", which according to the page, is coming June 13th. Great stuff. SA is back!!!

I won't pretend to be a fan, but I really did like the song at the end of "Clerks".

Ah! Don't beat me for being one of *those* people

Probally just you and me fanwise.

They are playing at the place I work so that should be fun. Hopefully I go to back to back shows.

The best album is Let Your Dim Light Shine, pop rock. The early SA is punk.

Biggest hits are Runaway Train, Someone To Shove, Misery, Black Gold, Promises Broken, and Can't Even Te'' (theme to Clerks)

Runaway Train, another one of those great, but overplayed 90s songs.

Grave Dancer's Union is another great album. I just bought that one a couple months ago, and love it.

I'm really excited for the new album. The song they have up on MySpace is great.
