Hey! I coulda sworn your message was different when I posted, as in not having all that busty blondes sucking on fingers stuff ... either that or my eyes decided not to reveal said titilation...anyway, yes, OF COURSE that'd be alright!
    Yeh! I do have a ONE GIG ATI 4870!!!!! Mis-type! So that's a ONE GIG ATI 4870!!!!
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. To be honest, that gives me an erection...just being honest, but it does.

I'll probably end up going for the 896mb GTX260 (nVidia), and then in due course SLI two of those bitches together ... or perhaps I'll go for a GTX280 if the price improves (which is 1gig).

Can't wait to start playing PC games again, as well as Clear Sky which I've had sitting on a shelf, unplayed, since I got it almost two sodding months ago.

And then - super fast video rendering, oooooooh I can just imagine the Magic Bullet explosion, all over my footage like a bukkake porn!

Not bad. Riveting but the speed of the foes and the overall Day 08 feel does give me some concerns though.

*shakes fist at Neil, who may very well have been on my lawn earlier, you rascal!*

I've got my eye on you, chap.

If I'm not mistaken, this is purely an online game correct? That'll count me out, but if I ever do play it, I reckon I'll have to do so whilst assuming the position on the porcelain bowl.

While of course the focus is multiplayer, you can play with four other AI players, and Turtle Rock Studios (now merged with Valve) are renowned for their excellent AI.

Anyway, I know you can't get on XBox Live for whatever reasons MZ but is there something stopping you playing online on PC?

Also, what happened to them being 'infected' rather than zombies? Did Valve just give up on that?

lol, yeah, are they infected, or zombies, or infected zombies ... or just nutters?

Anyway, yeah not on XBL, there's far better other things I could spend fifty sheets a year on, plus I only have enough time to do my single player campaigns, let alone online stuff getting pwned by eleventeen year olds talking like rappers.

As for PC online, again, it's to do with the location of the broadband connection - we're old school and wired, none of that wireless wank - plus my existing PC rig is now out of date for gaming, and then when I get a new one it'll pwn the games - BUT - it WON'T be going online, except briefly at the start to get security software on & updated.

As for the other PC that IS online, it's not got the graphics card - but everything else - to play games, so, hehe. Kinda counts me out.

But you can play it on your own, a la Battlefield games, essentially with bots?

Hmmm...if so, interesting...as long as the AI is good and doesn't get stuck behind doors, or run in circles, or stand there like an idiot, or get in the way of my pwning bullets etc.

As I've said they're renowned for their AI work, I've read more than one preview from people who've played the game and didn't realise they were playing with bots until Valve told them.

No doubt they'll be more helpful than real players in a lot of cases though I think the fact one player has the potential to f*** it up under the right (or wrong?) circumstances also adds a lot to the experience.

    This looks so rad.

That opening film was better than the entire LAND movie.

    Can't wait for this.

I am gagging for this game. Got a group of xbox live cod4/graw guys ready to experience a bit of survival horror for the first time. We always worked together well on mp/co-op games so this will be very interesting

If you pre-ordered, start checking your inboxes. I just got my demo key for 360. It should be up for download tomorrow around 5:00AM EST. Can't wait to try it out!
