    XBOX Live Arcade MMORPG

I don't understand why the Arcade on XBOX Live hasn't come out with an MMORPG in the vein of Runescape yet. That would probably be the top selling XBLA game of all time and could be loads of fun (as long as there wasn't a monthly fee).

Does anybody know if maybe there is a developer out there actually working on something like this?

But that's not on the arcade, that's a retail game. They have more than just that one. I'm talking about an arcade one, along the lines of Runescape.

If there weren't a lot of 3D assets, and the graphical style was that of Diablo or Baulder's Gate, I could see it working. They'd have to try and keep development costs down in case of a bomb, going the 2D route would be a wise choice. A monthly fee may also hamper things, but it could definitely work. Its a huge risk, as the MMORPG scene has yet to take off on consoles.

The reason I keep referencing Runescape is because they're graphics are real low key so it downloads ultra fast and is a small file, but good enough to not really complain about it.
