View Full Version : Does Constantine count as a dead film?

I mean, Keanu dies and then comes back to life. He can actually literally go to hell. He does not fit the defintion of "zombie" in the traditional sense (he is not a rotting corpse) but he is definately different than the average joe who dies for a few moments and then is brought back. What do you think?

Speaking of what you mentioned, I managed to save some screen caps of the missing zombie scene from Constantine --- looked like it would've been pretty cool! :)

I liked Constantine. I thought Peter Stormare's satan was the second best ever. Pacino keeps the top honors as best Lucifer.

Even though Advocate was just a movie and PAcino just playing a role... he did it with such charisma that I was sitting there... actually questioning religion and what the real meaning of everything is in the grand scheme of things.

Hence why, he is the best Lucifer ever portrayed on the big screen. Ya know what... Screw this I am gonna watch Devil's Advocate right now.

Nope. But I liked the movie. Interesting concept to be able to go to hell and come back. But as far as movies that can almost be considered a zombie flick I would say American Werewolf in London. I liked how the one came back from the dead to haunt his friend and urging him to kill himself before any more people died.

Wasn't he a ghost and not a zombie?

Could we just call him the Anti-Boogeyman? :p

i just dont see where the zombies would have fit into that game, probably during a hell on earth montage ,like when the ghost of the titanic comes in to port in ghostbusters.

Wasn't that Ghostbusters 2?

I have to agree, Kind of glad they nixed the scene I didn't see it fitting in the movie either.

BTW just got done with Devil's Advocate and Yep, Pacino is still the mutherf*cking man!
