Actor announced to play Scott pilgrim in edgar wrights movie adaption

If youve never read Brian Lee o'Malleys scott pilgrim graphics novels your really missing out, heres some examples: http://www.scottpilgrim.com/index.php?id=previews i was turned onto these by www.popcultureshock.com 2 years ago and ive been a big fan since and i can wait to see edgar wrights (yeah, spaced, shaun and hot fuzz, that edgar wright) take on the daydreaming, jobless bass playing canadian protagonist.
but its been announced the role of scott will be player by miechal cera http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0148418/ from Juno and Superbad.
so far his roles have been a little jittery but i recon he'll be good in the role and i for one cant wait.

this calls for a scott pilgrim avatar, stephen stills i believe.:D

Don't know much about the source material, but of the few roles I've seen Cera in....he's REALLY one dimensional. I've only seen him in a few things, so maybe it's just those particular roles, but I've seen him be nothing different than "Michael Cera".

What's the latest on Pegg and Wright's new collaboration? I think it's called "Paul" and Frost plays the main character this time?

Hmmm, never dabbled near Pilgrim's pool, so don't know anything about it except what you've just said and that you like it. :D

I want him to make "Don't!" into a full movie, the trailer was awesome ... and Frost as a adult baby in some dank dungeon cellar was horrifying on it's own. :eek::eek::eek:

Still, jobless Canadian ... plus Edgar Wright and his past with Spaced and Shaun of the Dead ... I smell the scent of awesome.
