So im buying an imac tomorrow when my student loan comes in, 4gb of ram, a terrabyte harddrive ect. ect. all in all a good pc, but it only comes with the bare essentials, so i need to buy some programs, first off theres the £99 office pack, word ect, from a nearby apple sotre, but that doesnt have the creative stuff i need, all of wich is ungodly expsense, till i found this:

...yeah theres a catch, you only get the disc and manuall, you have to fill out paperwork and send proof that you are in fact a university student before you get the serial code half a week later.

now i am a university student so no worries but still, why not just fill in a form online when you order, just give em the uni and its contact details so they can just ring and go "oh hi, is danny smith a student there?" but no you need all this proff of i.d stuff, wich i can understand, but if people were trying to scam, they were tryng to scam for premier pro, flash and photoshop and stuff, its not like someone using a fake id to buy a gun or something, -GAH!

*throws some papers in the air and storms out the room.

Well at least you'll be able to get it all and have a fancy rig to further you in your career and education, so a bit of farting around up front isn't a huge deal, just a nuisance.
