Best adaptation, woefully cheap production.

great little movie. i have had a soft spot for last man on earth since i first saw it as a kid.

it is really the only adaptation to stay relatively close to the book.

I started a film loosely based on it, about 4 years ago. Never even came close to finishing it because the main actor became a flake. But here's what I had made thus far...

It was still better than Will Smith's I Am Legend, IMO.

Agreed. Excellent movie, I'd never seen it before this year when I got the DVD, some sad moments in there.

Like I was saying.

Last Man had the best adaptation, but Smith's version had the best scale & budget.

Combine the two and you'd get a proper I Am Legend.

but combine will smith and vincent price, in a brundlefly scenario im assuming, and the universe, neigh, time and space itself would be rendered in twain.

Who are you, Russell Brand with all that chat, boy?

(Forgetting Sarah Marshall actually looks a lot funnier now I've seen the uncut, long trailer ... no doubt will see that in 2 weeks at t'cinema).

I watched it for the first time today and agree, it's the closest to the book! I liked it best out of the 3.
