One Quid equates roughly (depending on current exchange rates) to one Pound (£) Sterling.

lol

"Quid" is slang for pound in the UK like "buck" is slang for dollar in the US. The only difference is that the plural still doesn't have an 's' on the end, e.g. "a quid, five quid" (vs. "a buck, five bucks").

yep.

England is weird. Just lay down and accept the Canadian doller. Praise be to the almighty doller.

whats that MZ? Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome my country is.

And the American doller is pretty much out of date, due to the fact that it isn't Canadian. BTW, I heard Geraldo was looking around for you, he said something about owing you some "favours".

:P

Blockbuster has always been pretty cheap around here. They just recently started selling these kickass posters, though. They look like posters, but the frame is connected and it's one large piece. The image of the poster is literally printed onto the surface of this hard poster/frame.

I picked up this Goldfinger poster for only 10 bucks.

WTF is a "quid"?!

A kind of humiliating situation, often experienced near (or at) the former palace of the Kaisers in Berlin. The term first appears in written history in a german newspaper from 1901 when american tourist Daniel Spaulding stepped on a banana peel and stumbled into the royal parade of Wilhelm II.

That article is very outdated, Blockbuster has been posting profits all year long and they have only been getting bigger. Also, Nexflix was hurt very bad when Blockbuster took 60k of their customers last year, but then BB went and raised the price on the online program so they lost some of them.
