along with her sister ship HMS Prince of Wales is going to be a sexy piece of hardware. about time the royal navy stopped dicking around and built something approaching a supercarrier.
at 284 meters these will still be a bit smaller than the Nimitz class american carriers (about 333 meters) but will be a bit larger than the french carrier De Gaulle. a very large step up from HMS Illustrious and HMS Ark Royal, which are 194 meters in length.
