bub would whip the ass off of bud the C.H.U.D.

just my personal opinion. though i take it from the fact that howard shermann interpreted the bub character as an ex-priest turned biker with a huge substance abuse problem.

I definitely came down on the side of Bub myself . . .

I have to admit some ignorance here - I don't think I'd heard that about Shermann's interpretation of Bub . . . but I like it!

cinezombi put up a vid of a panel that sherman was on. that is where i heard him talk about how he interpreted the character.
